Hockey Canada has revealed the official Olympic hockey jerseys for the upcoming Milan-Cortina Games, showcasing designs for the men’s, women’s, and Para teams. Athletes will have the choice between two uniform options: a white jersey featuring a red maple leaf and a red jersey with a black maple leaf.

The maple leaf crests on the jerseys have a multi-tone design resembling a diamond, symbolizing the athletes’ resilience under intense pressure. CEO Katherine Henderson emphasized that these jerseys embody the essence of Canadian hockey and the unwavering support fans provide to the athletes.

The unveiling of the Nike-designed jerseys took place during the Rivalry Series opener between Canada and the U.S. David Shoemaker, the chief executive officer of the Canadian Olympic Committee, highlighted that the jerseys not only represent a uniform but also honor Canada’s rich Olympic hockey legacy, showcasing the country’s pride and passion for the sport.

The women’s team will kick off their gold medal defense on February 5, preceding the opening ceremony, while the men’s team, featuring NHL players for the first time since the 2014 Sochi Games, will begin their journey on February 12. The Para hockey tournament is set to commence on March 6, promising an exciting display of talent and sportsmanship.

As the anticipation builds for the upcoming Olympics and Paralympics, fans can look forward to witnessing the Canadian teams proudly donning these jerseys as they aim to secure victory on the global stage.
