On February 1, Justin Bieber made a comeback to the Grammy stage after a four-year hiatus. He appeared in a striking outfit of iridescent boxers and socks, accompanied by a purple electric guitar, drum pad, and loop pedal, delivering a mesmerizing rendition of “Yukon,” a popular track from his Grammy-nominated album “Swag.”

Unlike his usual elaborate performances, Bieber’s vocals took center stage during the event, showcasing his musical prowess. Cosmopolitan rated his performance as the second best of the night, highlighting the intimate nature of the show with Bieber’s stripped-down presentation that emphasized his smooth vocals, guitar skills, and looping pedal techniques.

While Bieber received nominations for multiple categories, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best R&B Performance for “Yukon,” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Daisies,” he did not secure any awards on that occasion.

The performance was reminiscent of Bieber’s debut at the Grammy stage in 2011 when he mesmerized the audience with an acoustic rendition of his hit “Baby.” This year, Bieber’s nominations at the Juno Awards tie him with Tate McRae as the most nominated artists. They will compete in various categories at the upcoming awards ceremony in Hamilton on March 29.

In addition to his upcoming Juno Awards appearance, Bieber is scheduled to headline at Coachella for the first time in April, further solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the music industry.
