Ottawa police say a 25-year-old is among two men charged with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Omar Jonathan Grant in the city’s east end Saturday night.
Officers were called to the 500 block of St. Laurent Boulevard around 9:25 p.m. ET. They found Grant, 25, with serious injuries, police said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. He later died in hospital.
Police identified Grant as the victim on Sunday.
