On March 29, fans of music will have the opportunity to tune in to the 55th annual Juno Awards live from Hamilton. The broadcast will go live nationwide at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on various CBC platforms, including CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, and CBC Listen, with global streaming available on CBCMusic.ca/junos and CBC Music’s YouTube channel. This year’s host is the talented Mae Martin, known for their work as a comedian, actor, and singer.
The 2026 Juno Awards will feature Mae Martin making their hosting debut at Hamilton’s TD Coliseum. The event will showcase performances by notable artists such as Daniel Caesar, William Prince, Arkells, and the Beaches. Additionally, the ceremony will honor Canadian music legends Joni Mitchell and Nelly Furtado with special awards. Mitchell will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Furtado will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
The Juno Awards Gala, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, will be broadcast live on CBC Music, featuring the presentation of various Juno Awards, including the Humanitarian Award to rock band Billy Talent. The event will also see the bestowal of the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award by Slaight Music to industry luminaries Alexander Mair, Sandy Pandya, and Vinny Cinquemani in recognition of their contributions to the Canadian music scene.
JunoFest, presented by CBC Music and spanning Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, will showcase a diverse lineup of artists from across Canada at multiple venues in Hamilton. The Friday lineup includes performances by Cam Kahin, Ammoye, Bells Larsen, and others, while Saturday’s roster features Billianne, Burs, Cootie Catcher, and more.
