The upcoming 2026 Women’s National Basketball League season will mark the debut of the Toronto Tempo, who are scheduled to play their first game on May 8 against the Washington Mystics at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The league recently unveiled its 44-game schedule for the season.
Negotiations are currently ongoing between the WNBA players and the league regarding a new collective bargaining agreement. If an agreement is reached, Toronto is expected to host most of their home games at Coca-Cola Coliseum. However, they will also play three games at Scotiabank Arena, the home venue for the NHL’s Maple Leafs and the NBA’s Raptors.
Toronto will face the Phoenix Mercury at Scotiabank Arena on June 27, followed by matches against the Minnesota Lynx on July 30 and the Indiana Fever, led by Caitlin Clark, on August 18. Additionally, the Tempo will have two games at the Bell Centre in Montreal against Dallas and New York on July 10 and July 12, respectively. They will also play two games at Rogers Arena in Vancouver against the Portland team on August 21 and the reigning champions, Las Vegas, on August 23.
