Ella Rae Wise has revealed that she never wants to see ex Celebrity Big Brother housemate Mickey Rourke ever again after he made sexually lewd comments towards her on the show. The TOWIE star was evicted from the ITV show as part of Tuesday’s triple eviction alongside Patsy Palmer and Angellica Bell.
Speaking to Ranvir Singh on Lorraine, Ella opened up about her thoughts on Mickey – who was kicked off the show earlier this month after a series of incidents. In one uncomfortable scene, Ella was left in tears after Mickey made a crude sexual remark towards her.
She told Ranvir: “I just didn’t appreciate it and that’s all it was. For me, I just had distance from Mickey and that was ok and at the end of the day, it’s just one of those things I didn’t appreciate. I’m glad I’ve never got to see him again.
She added: “I think a few of us do feel that way. It was a difficult situation to be in but I think I handled myself really well.”
Mickey’s time on Celebrity Big Brother was married in controversy from the very first episode, with viewers slamming his “creepy” behaviour towards host AJ Odudu after he grabbed onto her ahead of entering the house.
While in the house, Mickey received a formal warning after using a homophobic slur in a conversation with JoJo Siwa, while over 1,000 viewers complained to Ofcom over the incident. Despite the warning, when Ella asked Mickey to come with her for a task, he replied. “Come in you?” She then burst into tears in the diary room, telling Big Brother: “He’s making me feel on edge. I’m a young girl. I’m not a piece of meat. He’s making people feel so uneasy.”
Mickey was eventually asked to leave the show after aggressively confronting Chris Hughes during a pirate challenge and calling him a “c***”. ITV announced that Mickey had agreed to leave the show after using “threatening and aggressive” language.
