Maya Jama has said “dreams do come true” as she shared a sweet post about her family. The Love Island host has posted photos of her dream family holiday, something which she never thought would happen.
Maya – who is said to be in a relationship with footballer Ruben Dias following her years-long on-off romance with chart-topping musician Stormzy – enjoyed a holiday with her family and shared a string of sweet pictures. Taking to social media, she shared: “We used to dream of holidays like this.
“My heart & soul is full to the brim, being able to take my family away and seeing the smiles on their faces is one of the best feelings, memories to last a lifetime.
“20 slides isn’t enough & I could write a 2 page letter on what it took to get to this from where we come from but il save it for another day. Dreams come true, work hard and pour into those who pour into you.”
It was recently reported that things are getting more serious between Maya and Ruben.
“Maya and Rúben are getting more serious and she has met his mum, Bernadette. She is very happy and in a great place in her personal life and her career. It’s shaping up to be a very exciting year for Maya,” a source said.
Maya previously described herself as a “lover but a big leaver”, insisting she always knows what he wants in relationships.
“I’m such a lover but I am a big leaver as well. I know what makes me happy and I know what I like — and this is no disrespect to anyone I’ve been in a relationship with, but if it’s not that then I will leave it,” she said.
“My point I always try to make is that I am really, really happy and I have curated this lovely little life for myself and my friends. I only want you if you are going to add to that or make it better, otherwise I am not really on it.”
She added: “Dating is a bit of a ball-ache if I am honest because I am like, ‘I can’t go anywhere with you because even if I step out with my friend they are going to say I am dating him.’ That’s a bit annoying, having to be a secret agent to date.”
Maya and Ruben reportedly started dating after exchanging details at the EMAs and getting to know one another.
