Coronation Street’s Jenny Connor ‘playing along’ with Dom scam as revenge ‘sealed’

There could be a twist looming on Coronation Street, with fans predicting Jenny Connor might be hiding something.

Currently on the ITV soap it seems she’s being targeted in a brutal scam, orchestrated by her stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley and Daisy’s mother Christina Boyd. They are trying to get their hands on the money Jenny got from Daisy’s dad recently, which she kept from her.

Daisy wanted payback after a recent feud and asked her mum for help. Christina set up a fake dating profile as a man named Dom, messaging Jenny and trying to woo her.

Things took a turn this week though when Dom showed up to meet Jenny in the flesh. Daisy was worried about it all, and soon it became apparent that Christina and Dom might be closer than she had made out.

Amid this, Dom continues to woo Jenny in the hope of getting his hands on the £60,000 for those plotting against Jenny. Jenny is completely in the dark and thinks she’s found a new lover years on from the loss of her husband.

As Jenny faces losing everything in the coming episodes with Dom and co about to strike, a new theory suggests there is a secret plot rumbling along. Fans are wondering if Jenny is more clued up than anyone realises.

A new theory suggests that Jenny has figured out the truth about John and his apparent investment plans. They think she might be playing along with the scam, ready to expose them all when the time comes.

So is Jenny setting them up in a double bluff, pretending to like Dom and being keen to invest when actually she knows exactly what Dom is planning? Does she also know Christina and Daisy are involved, and could she seek revenge on them?

One theory read online: “I really think Jenny knows what’s happening she is playing along with it watch this space.” A second fan replied: “Oooo that would be a good scenario too.”

It comes amid a theory that Dom is secretly scheming against Christina and Daisy, and is planning on taking the money for himself. After scenes of him with Jenny and with Christina, and seeing Daisy’s concern, viewers are speculating Dom could be scamming all of them and not just Jenny.

While one fan predicted Christina might be using Dom and will not give him the money, others pointed out that it’s Dom who will likely get the money first due to his lie to Jenny. Taking to social media one fan said: “I just have this horrible feeling Dom is like another Lewis Archer and could be conning everyone.” Another viewer said: “I think Dom will make off with it on his own. Similar to Luke Strong with Rosie Webster.”

A third fan commented: “Well it sounds like the money is going into Dom’s account first,” as a fourth viewer said of the plot: “Anyone else think Dom might be playing his own game and Christina might not know him as much as she thinks?”

Another viewer predicted otherwise, suggesting: “Will Dom see any of the money? I can see Christina taking it and screwing both Daisy and Dom out of it.” Time will tell as Daisy makes her exit next week!
