Our Royal team have been faced with yet another busy today as Prince Harry appeared in court for the second day running, while his father, King Charles, continued his 4-day trip around Italy. Attention was once again drawn away from the King to his estranged son as the Duke of Sussex was escorted out of court by burly bodyguard’s after a woman’s outburst.

Parts of today’s hearing were heard in private, without members of the press or public. Shortly after the proceedings were paused to allow the room to be cleared early this afternoon, a member of the public shouted her support for the duke as he left the courtroom saying: “I support you Prince Harry“.

The Duke of Sussex has been at the Court of Appeal today to challenge the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of taxpayer funded protection when in the UK.

This afternoon, China hit back at Trump with an 84% tariff on US goods after they were hit with huge 104% tariff by the US President – worsening fears of a global recession.

Washington appears to be nonplussed by Beijing’s reaction, judging by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s remarks. He said on Fox Business: “They are the surplus country, their exports to the US are five times our exports to China.”

China’s state media earlier reported: “The US’ practice of escalating tariffs on China is a mistake on top of a mistake, seriously infringing on China’s legitimate rights and interests, and seriously damaging the rules-based multilateral trading system.

He is called out by JoJo, 21, and Chris Hughes before being called into the Diary Room and given a strong warning. In the shocking moment, Mickey asks JoJo: “Do you like girls or boys?”
