2 dead in crash on Highway 63, northeast of North Bay

Two people were killed in a collision Monday morning between a commercial vehicle and a passenger vehicle on Highway 63, northeast of North Bay, say Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Police closed the highway between Highway 533 and Fish Hatchery Road for around seven hours.

Both people in the passenger vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

The OPP’s traffic incident management enforcement team is assisting with the investigation.
