A gang of masked thugs linked to a notorious Dubai-based criminal paraded a fleet of luxury supercars through a quiet Glasgow housing estate, baffling residents. Video footage posted to TikTok on March 30 shows eight lavish motors, including Porsches and a Ferrari, cruising through the Drumchapel area in broad daylight.
The gang, clad in all-black outfits and balaclavas, filmed themselves hanging out of sunroofs and windows, while their convoy – led by a red Ferrari and a motorbike – zoomed through the residential streets. As a green Porsche captured the chaos, an off-road buggy sped across the pavements, closely followed by two more Porsches, a quad bike, and another motorbike.
Locals looked on, stunned, as the luxury cars continued to dominate the estate. In a chilling follow-up video, the gang were seen parked up at a local tyre garage, with hooded figures lurking in the background.
Footage of the eerie scene was captioned “Drumboys 1.” Other clips show a Lamborghini pulled over by police and a BMW speeding recklessly through the city.
The gang’s antics only add to their notorious reputation, with some suggesting they are tied to a high-profile underworld figure who fled Scotland for Dubai after being issued with an Osman threat to life warning by police, the Daily Record reports. The man now runs a supercar leasing business in the UAE.
His brother was brutally stabbed to death in Clydebank in 2020 after a violent altercation at a house party, with a £100,000 bounty placed on the killers’ heads. The fugitive’s violent feud with a rival Glasgow gangster escalated with threats of violence.
In one infamous clip, the enemy taunts: “He started it, but I will finish it. I’m p*****g on top of his brother. His brother is dead. Ha ha.
“What are they going to do about that? He is a pure dafty. I told him a year and a half ago I would come and punch holes in him and he did f all about it.”
Dubai is among the top five supercar capitals of the world, with luxury car rentals offering everything from Porsches and Ferraris to Lamborghinis and Bugattis. Business owners running such firms can expect sky-high profits, with enormous potential for growth.
A Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 488 can be rented out for anywhere between £700 to £1,500 per day, with even higher rates for premium vehicles like Bugattis or Rolls-Royces. For high-end firms, the return on investment is massive, especially if the fleet is well-maintained and in demand.
