Man dead after snowmobile crash in Dover Township, police say

A 40-year-old man has died after a crash involving a single snowmobile on Saturday, Chatham-Kent police say. 

The crash occurred near the corner of Mallard Line and Jacob Road in Dover Township, a municipality of Chatham-Kent. The man, who was from Dover Centre, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The traffic management unit was called to continue the investigation. 

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
