Charge laid in Sault Ste. Marie dog attack

Police in Sault Ste. Marie say a 49-year-old has been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm in connection with a November dog attack that left the victim with life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place at the accused’s residence on Pentagon Boulevard, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service said in a news release issued Friday.

Multiple dogs were involved in the attack.

There were believed to be 19 dogs in total in the residence at the time.

The two main aggressors were seized and held at a local humane society.
