Country music icons k.d. lang, Trisha Yearwood, and Martina McBride are set to honor Anne Murray in Nashville next month. The veteran East Coast singer will be featured in The Music of My Life: An All-Star Tribute to Anne Murray at the renowned Opry House on Oct. 27, as announced by her record label.
The Opry House, known for its historical significance in country music and as the home of the Grand Ole Opry show, will host the event. Joining the lineup of performers are Natalie Grant, Michelle Wright, and Shenandoah, with special appearances by Brenda Lee and Randy Travis.
Tickets for the tribute concert will be available to the public starting Wednesday through the AXS vendor website. This comes as Murray recently celebrated her 80th birthday and released her 33rd album, a compilation of previously unreleased tracks titled “Here You Are.”
