The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has announced an investigation into a fresh sexual battery accusation against hip-hop icon Sean (Diddy) Combs, who is currently serving a four-year jail term for offenses related to prostitution. According to a police report cited by NBC News, a male music producer and publicist alleged that during a 2020 photoshoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and instructed the accuser to participate. The accuser, whose identity is concealed in the report, shared that he remained silent for years due to embarrassment before approaching authorities in Largo, Fla., this September, following Combs’ previous convictions. Combs’ legal representative has yet to respond to requests for comment on these latest claims.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed receipt of the official report from the Florida department on Friday and disclosed plans to probe the allegations. The report also mentions an incident from March 2021 where the accuser alleges that two men covered his head before Combs entered and accused him of being a snitch, as per NBC. In July, Combs was found guilty of transporting his partners and male sex workers across the U.S. for drug-laden sexual encounters at various locations over an extended period. Nonetheless, he was cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have led to a life sentence.
Combs is slated for release in May 2028, with potential sentence reductions possible through participation in rehabilitation programs and other correctional initiatives.
