Tobias Warschewski found the net in the 57th minute, securing the victory for Cavalry. They are set to go head-to-head against Atletico Ottawa in the upcoming North Star Cup final scheduled for next Sunday.

The North Star Cup has replaced the North Star Shield, which was traditionally presented to the CPL champions from 2019 to 2022.
