A man accused of shooting at a Jewish Hanukkah event at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach is facing 59 charges, including murder and terrorism, as per police reports on Wednesday. Sajid Akram, aged 50, was fatally shot by police during the incident, while his 24-year-old son Naveed Akram, who also sustained police gunfire, emerged from a coma on Tuesday. During a court appearance via video from his hospital bed, Akram’s lawyer refrained from entering pleas or seeking bail for his client.
