A man from Montreal, sought by the FBI in connection with the Ryan Wedding case, was taken into custody on Monday in New Jersey. Tommy Demorizi, aged 35, was captured by FBI and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials at Newark International Airport after authorities suspected he had been hiding in the Dominican Republic.

The FBI had been pursuing Demorizi for various offenses, including aiding the Ryan Wedding Criminal Enterprise in locating a witness who was subsequently murdered.

Ryan Wedding, a former Canadian Olympian involved in drug trafficking and facing multiple charges of murder, was apprehended in Mexico in January after a decade of eluding authorities. Demorizi is also facing charges related to drugs, such as conspiracy to distribute, possess, and export cocaine, as well as conspiracy to commit murder and tamper with witnesses.
