Toronto Sceptres’ forward Daryl Watts received recognition for her outstanding performance in December as she was selected as part of the PWHL’s starting six on Friday. The monthly awards highlight the top three forwards, two defenders, and one goaltender based on their exceptional play in the preceding month.

Watts demonstrated consistency by contributing points in five out of seven games during December. Notably, she scored four goals, including a crucial game-winning goal in Toronto’s victory over Montreal last weekend. Joining her in the accolades were forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield and Britta Curl-Salemme from the Minnesota Frost. The defensive standouts were Megan Keller and Haley Winn of the Boston Fleet, while Aerin Frankel, also from Boston Fleet, was recognized as the top goaltender.
