Peel police revealed that the second victim in a Brampton crash caused by a youth driver was discovered hours after the incident, with both vehicles having already been taken to the police impound yard. The collision took place at Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street W. around 4:20 a.m., and the shocking find of the second body occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m., more than 12 hours later.

Const. Tyler Bell-Morena expressed astonishment at the condition of the vehicle when he inspected it before a news briefing, emphasizing the difficulty in locating the victim due to the severe damage. The crash involved a Blue Audi and a Black Honda Civic, with a subsequent collision with a pole causing both vehicles to leave the road. While three individuals from the Audi sustained minor injuries, a 31-year-old man was found deceased in the Honda Civic.

Notably, the driver and passenger of the Honda Civic were not acquainted, as the passenger had booked a rideshare after a social event. Peel police highlighted the challenges in identifying the passenger, which led to the vehicles being towed to the impound yard. Subsequently, a missing 20-year-old woman, whose last known location matched the crash site, was reported by her family and a friend, prompting a thorough search of the vehicles. The deceased woman was eventually located in the rear passenger compartment of the Honda Civic.

The investigation, now under the Major Collision Bureau, has led to charges against the 17-year-old driver of the second vehicle for dangerous driving causing death and failure to comply with demand. The authorities urged respect for the privacy of the grieving families affected by the tragedy and emphasized the criminal nature of the incident to ensure justice for the victims.
