This summer, CBC Music is interested in hearing about your connection to The Tragically Hip. As CBC prepares to rebroadcast the band’s final 2016 concert from Kingston, Ontario on August 22, they are inviting fans to share their stories about this iconic Canadian group.

CBC Music is encouraging fans to share their experiences by recording themselves on video or audio. By submitting their stories, fans give CBC permission to potentially feature them on radio shows, digital platforms, or social media.

Fans are invited to share stories in three key areas:
– Where were you during the 2016 concert? Who were you with, and what emotions do you recall?
– What is your most cherished memory associated with a song by The Tragically Hip?
– In your own words, what significance does The Tragically Hip hold for you?

The 2016 broadcast of “The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration” concert will be re-aired on August 22 at 7 p.m. local time on CBC TV and CBC Radio, and at 7 p.m. ET on CBC Gem and CBC Music’s YouTube channel.
