Céline Dion has revealed plans to extend her return to the stage in Paris later this year by adding six more dates to her initial 10-show run. After a hiatus due to stiff-person syndrome, an autoimmune disorder, the 58-year-old singer announced her comeback in a heartfelt Instagram video on March 30. Feeling well and ready to perform again, Dion expressed gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support throughout her health struggles.
In addition to the original 10 dates, Dion recently shared on April 7 via Instagram that she will be performing additional shows at Paris La Défense Arena throughout late September and October. The news of her extended residency comes after posters featuring the titles of her popular songs began appearing around Paris, sparking speculation about her return to the spotlight.
Diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome in 2022, Dion had to postpone and eventually cancel the remaining dates of her “Courage” world tour due to the illness. Despite the challenges, she documented her journey in the 2024 release of the documentary “I Am: Celine Dion,” which offered insight into her battle with the condition and her gradual return to performing.
Her upcoming performances in Paris mark a significant milestone in her comeback journey, with the fall 2026 shows being her first since the 2024 Olympics performance of “Hymne à l’amour.” Dion’s resilience and determination have endeared her to fans worldwide, making her return to the stage a highly anticipated event.
