The Edmonton Oilers have added goaltender Connor Ingram to their roster following a trade with the Utah Mammoth. Ingram, 27 years old, was acquired for future considerations after clearing waivers last week. He is set to join the Bakersfield Condors in the AHL.
As part of the deal, Utah will retain $800,000 US of Ingram’s $1.95-million average annual value. Ingram had taken a break from training camp this season after entering the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program in March due to his mother’s passing from breast cancer.
During his time with Utah last season, Ingram played 22 games and achieved a record of 9-8-4 with a 3.27 goals-against average and an .882 save percentage.
