Police investigating death of man at Stephenville hatchery

Police, the chief medical examiner’s office, and the province’s occupational health and safety division are investigating the death of a man at a work site in Stephenville.

In a news release, the RCMP said officers responded to a call for service involving a workplace incident at Northern Harvest Smolt Ltd. around 10:30 a.m. NT Monday. 

The release, sent Thursday morning, said when officers arrived, they found a 58-year-old man dead at the site.

The release said investigators are still looking into what happened.
