The Toronto Blue Jays are set to kick off the postseason with a daytime game as per the schedule released by MLB. The American League Division Series’ first two games will feature the Blue Jays against either the Boston Red Sox or the New York Yankees, depending on the outcome of the AL Wild Card Series.
If the Red Sox emerge victorious in their series against the Yankees, the Blue Jays will start their playoff journey against the Red Sox at 1:08 p.m. ET on Saturday. However, if the Yankees advance, Toronto will face them at 4:08 p.m. on the same day. Game 2 is scheduled for 4:08 p.m. on Sunday in both scenarios.
As of now, Boston holds a 1-0 lead against New York going into Game 2 of the best-of-three series. The Blue Jays secured a spot in the Division Series by clinching the AL East title and the top seed in the American League with a commanding 13-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on the final day of the regular season.
