A batch of Zwilling electric kettles faces a recall by Health Canada due to potential burn hazards. The recall pertains to Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity. It is reported that 43,963 of these kettles were distributed in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

The reason behind the recall is that the handle of the kettle may become loose or detach completely while in use. Health Canada has highlighted that in certain instances, this defect could lead to hot water spilling out, posing a scalding risk to users or nearby individuals, particularly children.

As of May 13, 2026, the company has received 21 incident reports and one potential injury case related to these kettles in Canada. Health Canada advises consumers to cease using the affected kettles immediately and to apply for a refund through the provided link.

For further details, consumers can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also encourages individuals facing safety concerns with the product to report any incidents through the designated channel.
