Justin Bieber wowed the crowd at Coachella on April 11 with a performance that showcased his extensive career. The day after his show, he experienced a surge in streaming numbers, marking his highest streaming day of 2026.
The Canadian pop sensation, making his debut as a headliner at the festival, treated fans to a trip down memory lane with renditions of popular tracks like “Baby,” “That Should Be Me,” and “Sorry.”
According to a recent report by Billboard, Bieber’s music garnered 24.6 million streams in the U.S. following his Coachella set, based on initial data from Luminate. This figure made April 12 his most successful streaming day since July 18, 2025, when he received 24.7 million streams shortly after releasing his surprise comeback album, “Swag.”
One of Bieber’s Grammy-nominated songs, “Yukon,” experienced a significant boost in streams, jumping to 1.3 million plays, a 21% increase from the previous day’s 1.1 million streams.
During his Coachella performance, Bieber opted for a stripped-down approach, eschewing backup dancers for a minimalist setup with simple lighting. At one point, he engaged with the audience by browsing YouTube for song requests and singing along to archived videos of his past performances, including hits like “Beauty and a Beat,” “Never Say Never,” and “All That Matters.”
The singer also shared some light-hearted moments, showcasing videos of himself walking into a glass door, falling through a stage hole, and a humorous encounter with paparazzi in a viral “standing on business” standoff.
Later in the evening, Bieber welcomed several special guests on stage, including Tems, WizKid, Dijon, and Mk.gee, with the latter playing guitar while Bieber closed the show with a rendition of “Daisies.”
Overall, Bieber’s Coachella performance not only captivated the audience but also fueled a significant spike in his streaming numbers, solidifying his status as a music powerhouse in 2026.
