Nickelback is set to launch their 11th album, titled “Everything Under the Sun,” on October 30. The band from Hanna, Alberta, had a successful tour following their 2022 album “Get Rollin'” while working on this new project. The debut single from the upcoming album, “Rattle the Cage,” was released recently, giving fans a taste of what to expect.
Frontman Chad Kroeger expressed that the new album showcases all facets of the band. He mentioned that it includes tracks with powerful impact, experimental ones, and tracks that reflect their long-standing collaboration.
Kroeger described “Rattle The Cage” as a high-energy track that embodies the vibe they experience during their live performances. The band was honored in 2023 with an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards in Edmonton, with the induction ceremony led by Ryan Reynolds and Connor McDavid. During their acceptance speech, Kroeger paid tribute to their roots in Hanna, highlighting their journey over the years.
Additionally, “Everything Under the Sun” builds on the success of the well-received documentary “Hate to Love: Nickelback,” which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023.
