Last week in northern Gaza, two NGO vehicles navigated through the destruction until an Israeli air strike hit one of them, killing three freelance photojournalists. This incident adds to the tragic toll of Palestinian journalists lost in the conflict.

The Committee to Protect Journalists has labeled Gaza as the most dangerous place for journalists in recent history, surpassing any other conflict globally.

Israeli military claimed that the individuals killed posed a threat as they allegedly operated a drone linked to Hamas. However, no evidence was provided to support this claim.

Journalists Face Grave Risks

The recent deaths highlight the dangers faced by journalists in Gaza, with local reporters often bearing the brunt of the conflict due to restrictions on foreign media access.

Journalists like Ahmed al-Batta express the constant fear and uncertainty they face while reporting from Gaza.

Shams Shana’a, another journalist, echoes these concerns, fearing being targeted for documenting the realities of the conflict.
