“Bad Bunny Makes History with Album of the Year Win”

Bad Bunny made history at the 68th annual Grammy Awards by becoming the first Latin artist to win the coveted album of the year award for his album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.” The Puerto Rican singer’s triumph overshadowed other notable artists like Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse, Pusha T & Malice, Lady Gaga, Leon Thomas, and Tyler, the Creator.

Kendrick Lamar also had a remarkable night, taking home five awards, including record of the year for his collaboration with SZA on the track “luther.” With these wins, Lamar surpassed Jay-Z as the most awarded rapper in Grammy history, securing a total of 27 wins.

Lady Gaga had a successful evening as well, winning four Grammys for her album “Mayhem” and hit single “Abracadabra,” clinching categories such as best pop vocal album and best dance pop recording. Gaga’s Canadian producer, Cirkut, also celebrated two wins, including the prestigious producer of the year, non-classical award.

Billie Eilish emerged victorious in the song of the year category for the third time, winning for her co-written track “WILDFLOWER.” The best new artist award went to British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean.

Although Justin Bieber received four nominations, he left empty-handed. However, he graced the stage with a performance of his song “YUKON” from his nominated album “Swag.”

Joni Mitchell, a Canadian music legend, secured the best historical album award for her compilation “Joni Mitchell Archives, Volume 4: The Asylum Years — 1976-1980.”

The ceremony also saw other notable winners across various categories, including Lola Young for best solo pop performance, Turnstile for best rock album, Kendrick Lamar for best rap album, Leon Thomas for best R&B album, and The Cure for best alternative music album and performance, among others.
