Canada’s national men’s soccer team is set to play friendly matches against Iceland and Tunisia at Toronto’s BMO Field in March. The 29th-ranked Canadian team will take on Iceland on March 28 and Tunisia on March 31. Both visiting teams will also play against Haiti during the international window.

In preparation for the upcoming World Cup, Canada will face Uzbekistan on June 1 in Edmonton, with one more opponent yet to be announced. The team, managed by Jesse Marsch, is scheduled to play a European team in Montreal on June 5 or 6 as part of its final World Cup warm-up.

The Canadian team will kick off its World Cup campaign on June 12 against a European qualifier in Toronto. Subsequently, they will face Qatar in Vancouver on June 18 and Switzerland on June 24.

Tunisia, ranked 47th globally, secured their World Cup qualification by finishing on top of their African qualifying group with an impressive 9-0-1 record. On the other hand, Iceland, ranked 74th, missed out on World Cup qualification after finishing third in their European qualifying group with a 2-3-1 record.

Haiti, ranked 83rd in the world, has also qualified for the World Cup.
