The upcoming Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in 2026 is set for September 26, featuring performances by City and Colour, Our Lady Peace, and Amanda Marshall. Hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos and Marie-Mai, the event will be held at Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall. The ceremony will see the induction of notable artists like Leslie Feist, The Tragically Hip, Mike Reno and Paul Dean of Loverboy, and Roch Voisine into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, with special tributes and performances planned throughout the evening.
The star-studded lineup of performers includes Allison Russell, Charlotte Cornfield, Isabelle Boulay, Ludovick Bourgeois, Matt Lang, Ruby Waters, Sara Dufour, Sebastian Gaskin, Talk, Tia Wood, and Todd Kerns. Boi-1da will also make a guest appearance, and the induction will be conducted by Bruce McCulloch, Finneas, Jay Baruchel, Jim Vallance, Laura Stacey, and Marie-Philip Poulin.
Previous inductees of the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame include music legends such as Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, and Alanis Morissette.
