
Maïa Schwinghammer is gaining a strong following in Saskatoon following her first appearance in mogul skiing at the Olympics.
Youth members of the Saskatoon Freestyle Ski Club express being motivated by her achievements and are enthusiastic about watching her upcoming dual moguls competition this Saturday.
Jensen Kristoff, a young skier from the club, shared his experience of interviewing Schwinghammer with his classmates at school.

“When she mentioned that we can achieve anything we set our minds to, that really resonated with me,” Kristoff shared.
“I’m excited to see what the next four years hold. I have high expectations, and I believe she will excel.”
Crystal Dahl, the club president based at Optimist Park, sees potential in the young athletes.
Maïa Schwinghammer from Saskatoon earns a 5th place in the women’s mogul event at Milano Cortina 2026 with a score of 77.61.
